Rules

To take part in the Italian Roller League all you have to do is enter any event of the schedule. By entering any competition you can earn points and join the results.

The championship consists of two categories : “A” and “B”. We introduce a further category to facilitate partecipation to the contests indipendently by own technical level. The “B” category rapresents the opportunity to enter the games and aquire visibility for all those who aspire to the “A” category or for all those who want to have magic moments at the comps.

“A” Category

Requirements to enter “A” category:

  • SPONSORSHIP. Everybody who rapresents a relevant brand can directly enter the “A”cat.
  • COVERAGE. Everybody who has a consistent presence on magazines, online-zines and video productions in relation to Rollerblading.
  • INVITATION. Everybody who is invited directly by IRL can, at his discretion, enter the “A”cat.

“B” Category

“B” category is open to evrybody, the winner of each “B” competition can enter the “A” and if he deserve it he can enter the following “A” comps as well.
Who is included in the requirement of sponsorship to enter “A” cat., can not enter the “B” cat.

Jury

Only the tricks tried, done and landed in the time limits decided by the judges count for the comp. The judges will value the skaters using four parameters:

  • Tricks: hardness, variety
  • Lines: lines
  • Amplitude: lenght,consistency,hight of tricks
  • Style: esecution-landing-“cleaness”

Each parameter will receive a score from “0” to “25” for a final score from “0” to 100”.

Competition Rules

Points & Ranking

  1. First classified: 30 pts
  2. Second classified: 25 pts
  3. Third classified: 21 pts
  4. Fourth classified: 18 pts
  5. Fifth classified: 16 pts
  6. Sixth classified: 14 pts
  7. Seventh classified: 12 pts
  8. Eighth classified: 10 pts
  9. Ninth classified: 8 pts
  10. Tenth classified: 7 pts
  11. Eleventh classified: 6 pts
  12. Twelfth classified: 5 pts
  13. Thirteenth classified: 4 pts
  14. Fourteenth classified: 3 pts
  15. Fifteenth classified: 2 pts
  16. From Sixteenth to last classified: 1 pts

In case of foreign participants classified in the first 15 places in a competition, the organization of Italian Roller League Roller will draw up two lists: one with all the skaters placed, valid for the competition in question, and a second ranking with Italian skaters valid for the allocation of points for the Italian Roller League.

At the end of the season, if two participants are first-ranking, he’ll win who has participated in more races.
